Even though I just have spent few days of working with Japanese, I would like to share some of my thoughts. There are some good things to learn about from them.

working with Japanese

Well-manner - I feel that Japanese people are really polite and respectful. As we know Japanese tradition greeting is bow and it is being used during any situation and for any people, not only to respect your senior. I could see how they (especially those who have the higher position) treat people so well even you are just nobody. Hence, I think the way of greeting do make other feel they are so polite. I believe that their culture has treated them courtesy and good values.

Hardworking – One thing that I have noticed from the first day I work with them is that it is hard for them to leave the office early. It is not because they did not want to but they usually spend several more hours working. I sometimes feel quite rude to leave right on schedule even it is okay to do so. I once asked one of my office mate on what time they usually leaved the office. His answer was 8 p.m. and this is very surprising to me because Malaysian style usually to work according to the assigned working hours if there is no meeting or any important cases. I think they really deserve for the title of “hardworking”.

Mother tongue - Another thing that I have noticed about working with Japanese is that they usually put their language as the first of important in any cases. The best part is they are very proud of using their native tongue. It is very common to see them using their native language (kanji) for writing system in computer or smart device. I think I should and of course I really want to learn Japanese from them starting now.
